The area boasts numerous family-friendly sightseeing area attractions such as Storyland, The Conway Scenic Railway, Mt. Washington Auto Road, Mt. Washington Weather Discovery Center, Hartman Model Railroad Museum, Santa’s Village, Attitash Alpine Slide, Cranmore Mountain activities, and Zeb’s General Store.
Alpine Slide, Mountain Biking, Scenic Chairlift, Waterslides, Buddy Bears, Horseback Riding are open daily from June 13 through September 7th.
Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway
The 80-pasenger aerial tramway whisks you above timberline to the 4,200 ft. summit for outstanding views of the White Mountains of New Hampshire and into Maine, Vermont, and even Canada. Visit the “Old Man of the Mountain” museum and the New England Ski Museum.
The Flume Gorge offers a 2-mile self-guided walk through a natural chasm, over covered bridges, and past waterfalls, and a scenic pool with plenty of mountain views. The Visitors’ Center offers a free 20-minute movie in high definition on Franconia Notch State Park, cafeteria, gift shop and more.
Covered bridges in the White Mountains are an integral part of the landscape and heritage of New Hampshire and North Conway. The Fryeburg Fair
Maine’s largest agricultural event held on the 185 acre fairgrounds in the Saco River Valley in the foothills of the White Mountains. Featuring 8 days of harness racing, live nightly entertainment, a farm museum second to none, the world’s largest steer and oxen show and a reputation known throughout North America. Fryeburg Fair attracts more than 300,000 people annually. First Sunday in October through Columbus Day.
Mt. Washington Auto Road

Wildcat Mountain Gondola

The Weather Discovery Center
Step inside the "wind room" and feel what it's like to be inside a building with 231 mph winds howling outside. Experience "Live from the Rock Pile" in the theater at 11am and 2pm daily, a live program via camera from the summit of Mount Washington.
