Autumn
In the fall, the White Mountains’ brightly colored foliage is truly a must see. The views are incredible from the top of Cranmore Mountain. You can also hike the Bryce Path to the top of Cathedral Ledge for an incredible view of Echo Lake or take part in tastings at Alpine Garden Winery in Bartlett , Cathedral Ledge Distillery or Tuckerman's Brewery.
Winter
Winter’s blanket of snow offers limitless exhilarating possibilities for skiing and other recreation like snowshoeing, cross country skiing, dog sledding, ice skating, ice climbing, snowmobiling and even winter wine tasting.
Spring
Spring, when Mother Nature begins her brilliantly colorful reawakening, is a great time to go off-roading up the muddy trails on Cranmore Mountain, hike the Western White Mountains, or take a canoe or kayak trip down the Saco River.
Summer
Summer, teeming with a variety of recreational opportunities, tax-free shopping, beautiful views and fun activities like zip lining, the Flume Gorge and Bretton Woods scenic gondola rides, is one of the best times to escape to the White Mountains.
